Drunkenness on Northern Trains

Are you getting fed up with the drunken people who ride up and down the Huddersfield to Stalybridge Route, purporting to be ” Real Ale Fans”, particularly on Saturday mornings and afternoons?

If so please let us know. We intend compiling a log of major incidents or regular incidents  which we will use to campaign for better policing of the trains and pubs.

One Response to Drunkenness on Northern Trains

We live close to the station in Marsden and these ale trails are seriously affecting our lives. When we have good weather being in the garden is a misery. The noise from large crowds of baying, swearing, shouting drunken people is horrible. We feel intimidated, invaded and very fed up. This is a quiet village not a major city centre. The railways and the pubs that are making money from this should be paying for police and security staff to combat the noise and anti social behaviour.
