September closure – Brighouse car parking options

For anyone thinking of driving to Brighouse and parking there during the September closure:

From Thursday 28 August to Monday 29 September, Brighouse station car park will be unavailable as it will be turned into a temporary bus interchange.

Alternative parking is available on-street in the local area (limited – a lot of the surrounding streets have residents’ only restrictions) or within Daisy Street pay and display car park operated by Calderdale Council, which is about 400 metres’ walk from the station.

Pick-up and drop-off provision is available on Railway Street. Pedestrian access from Birds Royd Lane and Blue Badge parking (for badge holders only) will be maintained throughout.
