{"id":2328,"date":"2021-07-30T20:06:40","date_gmt":"2021-07-30T19:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smart-rail.co.uk\/?p=2328"},"modified":"2021-07-30T20:06:40","modified_gmt":"2021-07-30T19:06:40","slug":"timetable-changes-31-july-to-15-august","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smart-rail.co.uk\/?p=2328","title":{"rendered":"Timetable Changes &#8211; 31 July to 15 August"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><u>Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) Works<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manchester Victoria to Stalybridge &#8211;&nbsp;Saturday 31 July to Sunday 15 August<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From Saturday 31 July until Sunday 15 August 2021, the railway line will be closed between Manchester Victoria and Rochdale\/Stalybridge, so that Network Rail can deliver key rail infrastructure improvements as part of&nbsp;Transpennine Route Upgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work between Manchester Victoria and Miles Platting Junction will see Network Rail work around the clock to upgrade track and reconstruct railway bridges, helping deliver a better and more reliable railway. Calls at Mossley, Greenfield, Marsden and Slaithwaite will be picked up by other TPE services. Towards Manchester, these will be picked up by the Hull \u2013 Manchester Piccadilly service. Towards Huddersfield, these will be picked up by the Manchester Piccadilly &#8211; Redcar Central\/Darlington service.
